HODGES-CARDWELL

Sue Evelyn Cardwell of Pensacola, Florida, and Charles Andrew "Chuck" Hodges of Salem, Virginia, were married April 1, 1993 at the Candlelight Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Reverend John P. Levendis performed the ceremony. A reception immediately followed at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Las Vegas.

The bride wore a wedding suit designed by Mr. Bill Monell of Nashville, Tennessee. The bride carried her fraternal grandmother's bible covered with lace and adorned with a bouquet of calla lilies and roses.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Hodges of Salem, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andy Brown, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Hodges. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Cardwell and Mr. Earl M. Cardwell, both of Franklin, Kentucky.

The maid of honor was Mrs. Stephanie McCauley. The best man was Randy McCauley, both of Pensacola, Florida.

The bride is currently employed with USAir in Pensacola, Florida. The groom is a 1973 graduate of Glenvar High School and also a graduate of Averett College, and is currently employed by Food World in Pensacola, Florida.

The honeymoon was in Las Vegas with several of the bride's and groom's friends from New Mexico, Tennessee, South Carolina and Florida. The couple will reside in Pensacola, Florida.
