The best man was Claude Hughes, father of the groom. The ushers were Tim Hughes and Wayne Hughes, brothers of the groom, Brian Hughes, nephew and Mark Overfelt, brother-in-law. The wedding coordinator was Brenda Overfelt. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Lola H. Jennelle of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and is employed by Allstate Ins. Co. The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Hughes of Roanoke, is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and is employed by Rockydale Quarries Corp. The newlyweds will live in Salem after the wedding trip to Mountain Lake.
