NORRIS-DEDE

Lori Monica Dede and Rev. F. Ronnie Norris were united in marriage June 5, 1993, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Cloninger officiating. A horse-drawn carriage carried the bridal party to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church for the reception.

Kathleen Kennedy served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Denise Norris, sister of the groom, Leigh Anne Laughon, Michelle McDaniel and Heather Winkler, friends of the bride. The flower girl was Kristina Ashwell. Mr. Frank Norris, Jr., father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Edgar Dede, brother of the bride, Daryl Cronk, Ralph Hurley and Tony Loftis, friends of the groom.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a gown of satin and silk with beaded lace bodice and carried a cascade of white and pink roses.

Jena Poindexter was the guestbook attendant. Mrs. Barbara Sarver directed the ceremony. Photography provided by Jim Markey.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl H. Dede of Roanoke, graduated from Patrick Henry High School and Virginia Commonwealth University, and is employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Virginia. The groom, son of Mr. Frank Norris, Jr. of Greenville, South Carolina, graduated from Carson-Newman College and received a Masters Degree in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Rev. Norris is Associate Minister of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Following a wedding trip to Bermuda, the couple will reside in Roanoke.
