Beth Anne Hale and Maurice C. Swain were married May 1, 1993, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul C. Hale, of Narrows, Va., where the reception was also held. Rev. Ernie Johnson performed the ceremony. The maid of honor was Cathy Lilly, friend of the bride. Flowergirl was Amanda Price, niece of the groom. The best man was Mack McCaleb, brother-in-law of the groom. Ringbearer was Zachary Price, nephew of the groom. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth C. Hale, of Narrows, Va., and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul C. Hale, of Narrows, Va., and Mrs. Doris Lacy, Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is employed by Craig Co. Schools. The groom is a son of Wayne and Linda Bostic, of Catawba, Va., and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Luther C. Taylor, of Catawba, Allene Bostic, of New Castle, and Maylon Swain, of Norfolk, Va. He is employed by Medeco Security Locks. After the wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains, the newlyweds will live in Catawba, Va.
