OBIT BUCK, LESSIE C.

BUCK, Lessie C. 89, of Roanoke, died Friday, June 4, 1993 in a local hospital. She was the widow of J. Harvey Buck, and a member of the First Church of God, Vinton. Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Jenny and Shorty Martin, Polly East, Phyllis and Jack Bowdel all of Roanoke; four grandchildren, Richard, Timmy, Teresa and Steve Bowdel; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nellie Fraley of Vinton, Madeline Hartman of Roanoke; sister-in-law, Ethel Gibson of Roanoke. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Carl Woodie officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
