OBIT NICHOLS, VIOLET

NICHOLS, Violet, 61, of 822 Fifth Street, S.E., Roanoke, died Friday, June 4, 1993. Surviving are her husband, Charles Nichols; one daughter, Cheryl Smith; two sons, Robert Barber and Wayne Barnett, all of Roanoke; three grandchildren; five sisters, Marie Caldwell, Roanoke, Gay Sink, Wirtz, May Petty, Martinsville, Thelma Spradlin, Christiansburg, Bonnie Caldwell, Roanoke; six brothers, Kenneth Barnett, Robert Barnett, John Barnett, Malcolm Barnett, Dennis Barnett and Henry Barnett, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 2:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Frank Feather officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Garden. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
