OBIT HOUSMAN, FRANCES HODGES

HOUSMAN, Frances Hodges, 69 of Rt 2, Wirtz, passed away Friday, June 4, 1993. Mrs. Housman was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Lee Housman. Surviving are her husband, Mr. William H. Housman of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Norma and Richard Dillon, Roanoke, Jean and James Hudson, Cary, N.C., Betty and Bob Billingsley of Wytheville; three sons and four daughters-in-law, John and Glenna Housman of Forest, Tommy and Marsha Housman of Wirtz, Bobby and Wanda Housman and Sue Housman all of Rocky Mount; two stepchildren, Hugh Housman of South Carolina, Geraldine Frith, Rocky Mount; two brothers, Willie Hodges of Roanoke, and Vernon Hodges of Rocky Mount; two sisters, Nellie Hodges and Ernestine Wade both of Rocky Mount; also surviving twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; one stepgreat-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, June 7, 1993, at Arrington-Bussey Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 6, 1993, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
