OBIT CAMPBELL, CLABEARN JUNIOR
CAMPBELL, Clabearn Junior, 69, of Roanoke, passed away suddenly, Saturday
at his home. Mr. Campbell was a retired employee of Oakey's Funeral Service
with 29 years service. He was also retired from the Roanoke County Schools
System with 15 years service. Mr. Campbell was a member of Roanoke Moose Lodge
#284 and a member of the Moose Legion since 1977. He was preceded in death by
his father, Ryland Clabearn Campbell and a sister, Doris Jean. He is survived
by his loving wife of 49 years Lois M. Campbell; two sons and
daughters-in-law, John Clabearn and Ellen Campbell, Ernest E. and Vickie
Campbell; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn C. and Mark Moock; seven
grandchildren, Sha Marie and Shanna Campbell, Ernie Jr and Ricky Campbell,
Clabearn ("Clay"), Stormy and Kala Moock, all of Roanoke; his mother, Kathleen
Campbell of Roanoke; two brothers, Eugene H. Campbell, Covington, Jack L.
Campbell, Roanoke; his doctor and good friend, Dr. Robert C. Keeley of
Roanoke. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June
8, 1993, at Mountain View Cemetery with the Rev. William M. Dixon officiating.
The family and friends will assemble at Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 10 a.m.
Tuesday. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
