OBIT TURNER, MABEL EVANS
TURNER, Mabel Evans, of Richmond, Va., died Saturday, June 5, 1993. She was
the widow of James A. Turner of Roanoke and preceded in death by a son,
Richard J. A. Turner. She is survived by one daughter, Elisabeth Evans Wray of
Richmond; two sons, Samuel Evans Turner of Chesapeake and Hugh B. Turner of
Richmond; eight grandchildren, Nathaniel Edwin Wray III, Elisabeth Evans
Wray-Jones, Victoria Filson Wray-Alley, Sonia Dee Turner-Corker, Samuel Evans
Turner II, Brian Anthony Turner, Steven Edward Turner, Jeffrey Scott Turner;
one great-grandson, Marshall James Corker; sister, Edith Evans Boltwood; one
nephew, Charles Evans Boltwood, both of Columbus, Ohio. Remains rest at the
Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Road, where the family will
receive friends 1 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday and where services will
be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Interment, West Hampton Memorial Park. Memorials
may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 55, Powhatan, Va. 23139.
