OBIT LOGAN, THOMAS SYLVESTER

LOGAN, Thomas Sylvester, 77, of Meadowview, Va., died Sunday, June 6, 1993. During World War II, he served in the European Theater, Italy and Africa and was the recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was a retired employee of Blue Ridge Talc Co., Inc. and was a member of the Meadowview United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Frances Stringer Logan; two daughters, Mrs. John (Ann) Birckhead, Roanoke, Mrs. Joe (Cathy) Campbell of Tulso, Okla.; one brother, Frank Logan, Meadowview; one sister, Dr. Myrtle Logan Pleune, Rochester, N.Y.; four grandsons. Funeral tentatively Tuesday, Farris Funeral Chapel. Arrangements by Farris Funeral Service, Abingdon, Va.
