OBIT KEESEE, ELSIE NOFSINGER

KEESEE, Elsie Nofsinger, 93, of Roanoke, died Sunday, June 6, 1993. She was the widow of William N. (Nick) Keesee. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Mae and Harvey N. Scaggs of Mechanicsville; three sons and daughters-in-law, William I. and Betty Jane Keesee of Apopoka, Fla., Joseph B. and Phyllis R. Keesee of Roanoke, David C. and Judy Keesee of Cary, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Warren B. (Pearl) Huddleston of Vinton, Mrs. Marie N. Buckland of Huntington, W.Va.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 1993 with the Rev. J. Weldon Myers officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Friendship Manor. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
