MILES, Estella Barnes, 73, of Roanoke, died Monday, June 7, 1993 in a Salem
nursing home. She is survived by her husband, Ellis E. Miles Sr.; two
daughters, Eileen Messina of Millers Ville, Md., Betty Barnett of Roanoke; a
son a daughter-in-law, Ellis Edward and Blanche Miles of Roanoke; nine
grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the
graveside 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 1993 at East Hill Cemetery, Salem with the
Rev. Frank W. Feather officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
