OBIT HUTTON, HALLIE SEMONES

HUTTON, Hallie Semones, 84, of Radford, died Saturday, June 5, 1993, at her home. She was born August 21, 1908, in Hillsville, a daughter of the late C. C. Semones and Hattie Webb Semones. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Hutton Sr.; two sisters, Ila Semones Anderson, and Lena Semones Kirby; three brothers, Dr. L. R. Semones, Howard Semones, and Earnest Semones. Surviving are one daughter, Helen H. Smith of Orlando, Fla.; one son, James C. Hutton Jr., Lakeland, Fla.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery in Lexington, with Dr. William H. Jackson officiating. DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford is handling the arrangements.
