OBIT HARRIS, EUNICE TOMLINSON

HARRIS, Eunice Tomlinson, 76, of 102 Dingess Street, Narrows, died Monday, June 7, 1993, in the Riverview Nursing Home in Rich Creek. She was born in Colo, Ky., on April 30, 1917, and was the daughter of the late Melvin and Ninevah Smiley Tomlinson. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Gathel Marie Robertson, Melba H. McCroskey, and Carol Faye Harris. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Narrow. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Taft M. Harris of Narrows; a son, Jack Harris, Franklin, Ky.; three daughters, Ruth Esther Saul, Matewan, W.Va., Cosetta Dale Smith, and Velma Harris Ezell, both of Narrows; three brothers, Alfred Tomlinson, Hubert Tomlinson, both of Akron, Ohio, Hobert Tomlinson, Sweetwater, Texas; two sisters, Zula T. Hunt, Sweetwater, Texas, and Lella Stansberry, Middletown, Ohio; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. at Riffe's Funeral Chapel in Narrows, with the Rev. Ivan Mitchell and Rev. Fred Mooney officiating. The remains will be sent to the Somerset Underetaking Company in Somerset, Ky., where a second service will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Harris Cemetery at Somerset, Ky. The family will meet their friends at Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the Somerset Undertaking Co. Somerset, Ky., Wednesday evening.
