OBIT NEAL, BETTY LUCILLE CRUM
NEAL, Betty Lucille Crum, 67, of 332 Roxbury St., Clifton Forge, died
Sunday, June 6, 1993, at the Roanoke Memorial Rehabilitation Center. She was
born in Price Hill, W.Va., on April 27, 1926, daughter of the late Gordon Lee
and Reba Paxton Crum. She was retired waitress for the C. & O. Restaurant, and
member of the Harvey Baptist Church, Roanoke. She is survived by three
daughters, Mrs. Nancy Blair, Blacksburg, Mrs. Deborah Files, Carbon Hill,
Ala., Mrs. Linda Fox, Roanoke; three sons, Jerry and Mike Neal, both of
Roanoke, Paul Neal, Clifton Forge; three sisters, Mrs. Don (Shirley) Bush,
Staunton, Mrs. Barbara L. Montgomery, Roanoke, Mrs. Virginia Musgrove,
Rustburg; four brothers, Gordon Crum, Melvindale, Mich., William Crum, Bud
Lake, N.J., Charles (Eddie) Crum, Staunton, Donald (Jack) Crum, Clifton Forge;
27 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; number of nieces and nephews. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Alexander Neal in 1992, and a
son, Robert Wade Neal; also one sister and four brothers. Graveside services
will be held Wednesday, 3 p.m., Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge, with
Rev. Jim Patterson officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive
friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Nicely Funeral Home.
