OBIT CONLEY, BIREDINE GREEN

CONLEY, Biredine Green, 77, of Pembroke, died Monday, June 7, 1993 in a Pearisburg hospital. Born in Montgomery County she was a daughter of the late Leslie William and Alice Fields Green. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Houston Conley Sr. Surviving are one son, John Houston Conley Jr., Fla.; three sisters, Mary Martin, Narrows, Nellie Jarels, Bedford, Marcella Breeden, Eggleston; eight brothers, John Green, Lynchburg, Roy Green, Great Falls, Mont., Jack Green, Wayside, Henry Green, Pearisburg, Walter Green, Roanoke, Cecil Green, Narrows, Bill Green, Eggleston, Leslie Green, Blacksburg; three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel, Pembroke with the Rev. Larry Patton officiating. Burial will be in the Peterstown Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
