SOWELL, Nadene Turman, 40, of Cobb Island, Md., died Saturday, June 5, 1993 in Prince George's General Hospital, Cheverly, Md. She was born November 8, 1952, in Radford. She was a member of the Cobb Island Baptist Church, Cobb Island, Md., and was employed as a secretary with A.G.S. She is survived by her husband, James J. Sowell, Cobb Island, Md.; father, Roscoe Nathan Turman; mother, Dorothy (Shrewberry) Turman; both of Prices Fork; three sons, Christopher Todd Horrocks, Michael Robert Horrocks, both of Cobb Island, Md., Jason Paul Sowell; daughter, Christine Marie Sowell, both of Pomfret, Md.; three brothers, Dale Turman, St. Charles, Mo., Charles Turman, Salem, Joey Turman, Blacksburg; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Turman, St. Charles, Mo., Judy Turman; grandmother, Etna Price, both of Blacksburg; great-grandmother, Lola Lowry, Hinton, W.Va. Funeral service will be held at the Huntt Funeral Home, Inc., noon, Wednesday, June 9, 1993, by Rev. Donald Mentch. Burial will be in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, Md.
