FOOTBALL STARS OUT FOR GAME

Tight end Bryan Jennings, the Associated Press Group AA football player of the year, heads the West team for the Virginia High School Coaches' Association all-star game July 15 in Hampton.

Jennings led Jefferson Forest to the Group AA Division 3 state title.

The all-star game, which is held in conjunction with the VHSCA Clinic, has been moved from Lynchburg to Darling Stadium this year. There also will be all-star basketball (girls' and boys'), softball and baseball games played the same week.

Matoaca's James Farrior, one of the top running back prospects in the state, will head the East squad.

Other top college prospects scheduled to play in the game include running backs Mike Geter of Yorktown and Tiki Barber of Cave Spring, and defensive back Ronde Barber of Cave Spring. Geter is going to North Carolina, and Farrior and the Barbers are headed to the University of Virginia.

See microfilm for all-star football rosters.
