BUCS, BLUE ROCKS PLAY A LOT TODAY

The Salem Buccaneers and Wilmington Blue Rocks will put in more than a day's work at the ballpark today.

The Carolina League teams tried to make up a suspended game on Wednesday, but it was suspended because of rain with the score 5-5 after 11 innings. A regularly scheduled game Wednesday also was postponed.

The teams will finish the suspended game beginning at 5 p.m. today, then play two seven-inning games. - Associated Press
