SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL JULY 3 AT DUBLIN STADIUM

Tickets are on sale for a summer music festival July 3 in Kenneth Dobson Stadium at Pulaski County High School.

Performers featured at the show starting at 5 p.m. include Blood, Sweat & Tears with David Clayton Thomas, Clarence "Strokin' " Carter, The Impressions, George Penn and Power Force, Face to Face, and Don and the Deltones.

Tickets are $18 in advance and will be $20 at the gate, which opens at 3:30 p.m. on the day of the program. Members of the audience should bring lounge chairs or pillows to sit back and enjoy the music under the stars that night.

Advance tickets can be bought at Martin's Pharmacy in Pulaski, Counts' Drugs in Wytheville, Nuckols Drug in Hillsville, First Street Pharmacy in Radford, Family Drug Center in Galax, Medicine Shoppe in Dublin, City Drug in Marion, Hometown Pharmacy in Narrows and Pembroke, and Books, Strings & Things in Blacksburg.

They also are available at all TicketMaster locations.

Pulaski Main Street representatives plan the festival as an annual event.
