HISTORICAL SOCIETY SEEKS MEMORABILIA

The Giles County Historical Society is seeking musical memorabilia for an exhibit June 19 at the Andrew Johnston House and museum, 208 N. Main St.

"The Sound of Music" is the theme for the exhibit, which will be open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Items to be featured at the exhibit will include old musical instruments of any type, old phonographs, radios, records, sheet music, music stands, music boxes, band uniforms, photographs and news clippings about musical groups in Giles County history and other items.

Security will be provided for all items on loan.

Anyone willing to lend items for the exhibit should bring them to the Andrew Johnston House Thursday between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
