OBIT-BURNETTE, HARVEY J.

BURNETTE, Harvey J., 83, of Hollins, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 1993, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was a charter member of Patterson Memorial Grace Brethren Church and was a retired sales person. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Lucille Burnette; two daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia B. ("Ginnie") and Linnie R. Hall, Helen and Mac Bradley of Vinton; one granddaughter and husband, Kathy and Sonny Martin of Roanoke; one grandson and wife, Timothy R. and Renee Dean Hall of New Jersey; two great-grandchildren, Alexander Robert and Alivia Renee Hall, New Jersey; two stepchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-great-grandchildren; one brother and wife, Harry W. and Corinne Burnette of Roanoke; four sisters, Dorothy Burnette and Effie Doss of Roanoke, Gladys Harper of Vinton, Ruby Obenchain of Hollins; and many devoted friends, including Tommy and Reba Wilkins. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 12, with the Rev. Donald E. Eshelman officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from Oakey's North Chapel, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
