OBIT-MINCER, SALLY FOSTER BAILEY
MINCER, Sally Foster Bailey, 54, of Charlottesville, died Thursday, June
10, 1993, in a Charlottesville hospital. She was born March 30, 1939, in
Roanoke, daughter of Mrs. Winifred Foster Bailey of Roanoke and the late
Albert E. Bailey Jr. Mrs. Mincer was a graduate of Madison College and was a
member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. In addition to her mother, she
is survived by her husband, Robert H. Mincer; a son, Mark Alan Mincer,
Charlottesville; one daughter, Miss Ellen Leigh Mincer, Winston-Salem, N.C.;
one brother, Albert E. Bailey III, Roanoke; her father-in-law, Robert W.
Mincer, Charlottesville; three nieces and one nephew. A funeral service will
be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 13, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church
with the Rev. Amos Rideout officiating. Interment will be in Monticello Memory
Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday at
Hill and Wood Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia
Society of America, 1029 Coliseum Dr., Hampton, VA 23666, or the American Red
Cross, 1105 Rose Hill Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22903.
