ISRAEL, AMERICA MUST FIGHT ILLUSIONS

Peace will come about if Israel cedes control of Golan, Judea, Samaria and Gaza in exchange for empty promises and guarantees that have always proved ineffective.

Arabs do not have a Palestinian state, whereas in fact they have one in Jordan - the three-quarters of Palestine east of the Jordan River. Seventy percent of the population consists of Palestinian Arabs.

Palestine Liberation Organization is for "moderation" and "peace," whereas in fact the PLO was and presently is committed to terrorism and to the extinction of Israel in a similar fashion to the Syrian and Iranian-backed Hamas terror group.

Israel and America's policy is to reverse these illusions and prevent their devastating consequences from becoming a "political solution." ALVIN W. FINESTONE CLIFTON FORGE
