OBIT SPERKA, IDA BELLE HARTLESS

SPERKA, Ida Belle Hartless, 93, of Natural Bridge Station, formerly of Lexington, died Friday, June 11, 1993, at the Shenandoah Valley Health Care Facility, Buena Vista. Mrs. Sperka was born in Buena Vista on August 27, 1899, a daughter of the late Thomas Henry Hartless and Mary Belle Hill Hartless. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Sperka, and a daughter, Mrs. Etta Irvine. Mrs. Sperka was a member of the Lexington Presbyterian Church, Lexington. Surviving are two sons, Lewis H. Sperka, Natural Bridge Station, V. Ernest Sperka, Natural Bridge; a daughter, Nina S. Bell, Coraopolis, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Nina H. Zollman, Lexington; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside on Monday, June 14, 1993, 11 a.m., at the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery with Rev. William Thomas officiating. The family suggests contributions be made to the Glasgow First Aid Crew. Arrangements by the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
