Patricia Gail Knapp and William Richard Lewis are engaged and planning to be married July 3, 1993, aboard The Virginia Dare, at Smith Mountain Lake. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.Richard S. Knapp of Roanoke. Shegraduated from Patrick Henry High School, Virginia Western CommunityCollege and the College of Health Sciences. She is employed by Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lewis. Hegraduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, Pittsburgh, Pa., and Steel Valley Institute, Pittsburg, Pa. He is employed by Joe Bandy & Sons, Roanoke.
