Lisa Gail Duke and Gerald Lee Ayers were united in marriage June 5, 1993 in LaMaison Gardens with Mr. Warren Crumb officiating. The reception was also held at LaMaison. The maid of honor was Angelia Duke, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Chris Batchelor andJodi Smith. Junior bridesmaid was Amy Brannon, niece of the groom. The best man was Robert L. Ayers, father of the groom. The ushers were Robert Ayers, Jr., brother of the groom; and AlanPowers. The bride is the daughter ofWilliam C. and Shelby H. Duke of Blue Ridge. She is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and is employed by AMP Inc. The groom is the son of Robert L. and Kathy R. Ayers of Blue Ridge. He is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and is employed by Hall Septic Inc.Following a wedding trip to Florida, the couple will live in Troutville.
