FARMER-BLEVINS

Stephanie Loraine Blevins and Joseph Samuel Farmer were married June 5, 1993, in Rainbow Forest Baptist Church. The officiating clergyman was Rev. W. H. Bowles, uncle of the bride.

The maid of honor was Miss Jennifer Furrow, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Miss Denise Blevins, sister of the bride; Miss April Burger, Mrs. Laura Maronic, Miss Karen Robinette, and Miss Amy Lynn Shirley, all friends of the bride and groom. The flowergirl was Kari Farmer, niece of the groom.

The best man was James C. Farmer, father of the groom. The groomsmen were Mr. Jim Farmer, Mr. Jeff Farmer, Mr. John Farmer, all brothers of the groom, also, Mr. Hunter Crowder and Mr. Mike Whitley, friends of the bride and groom. The ringbearer was Robert Lee Furrow, Jr., nephew of the bride.

The guestbook was attended by Miss Melissa Cawley, cousin of the bride. Special music was provided by Mrs. Ruth Williams, friend of the bride and groom.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Dennis L. Blevins of Goodview, Va., and Mrs. Connie Hamilton of Roanoke, Va. She is a graduate of Staunton River High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. The bride is employed by Allstate Insurance Company and will transfer within the company after the honeymoon.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Farmer of Roanoke, Va. He is a graduate of Berean Christian Academy. He also graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. The bridegroom is employed by Tercarva Machinery. The newlyweds will reside in Chesapeake, Virginia.
