Finnegan & Agee Advertising and Public Relations, a Richmond-based advertising agency with offices in Roanoke and Virginia Beach, has promoted GINNY MURPHY to senior vice president, named JANET EASON associate media director and appointed KAREN ASHWORTH media buyer. Eason will supervise the media planning for the firm's major Roanoke accounts, Advance Auto Parts and McDonald's Restaurants. Ashworth joined the agency in 1991 as a media assistant.
Also, MARY LYNCH has been named a broadcast buyer for the agency's Advance Auto Parts account and McDonald's Restaurant Co-ops in Tidewater, Roanoke and on the Eastern Shore. She previously worked for Circuit City Stores.
BANKING
VIRGINIA H. SJOLANDER, formerly of Patrick County, has been promoted to senior vice president at NationsBank. She is the institutional trust administrative services manager for the mid-Atlantic region, which includes Virginia, Maryland and Washington. Her responsibilities include administration of employee benefits.
\ LINDA H. SIBOLD has been named an assistant vice president at First National Bank of Christiansburg. An employee since 1978, she formerly worked as the assistant branch manager of the Blacksburg office. z

JENNIFER CONLEY has been appointed director of the Senior Companion Program at the League of Older Americans Area Agency on Aging. She formerly worked as an Eldercare counselor with the agency's Work/Family Eldercare Directions service.

JOHN C. THOMPSON has been appointed manager of Law Engineering Inc., an international consulting firm that has opened an office at 5312 Peters Creek Road in Roanoke.
\ JAMES W. PARKER has been named executive vice president of Simplimatic Engineering Co. in Lynchburg. He will oversee sales and marketing and be responsible for business development strategy. An employee for 20 years, he has been vice president for marketing and sales for six years.
HEALTH CARE
\ HEIDI F. KRISCH, JOSEPH H. VIPPERMAN and STANLEY R. HALE have been named to the board of directors of Roanoke Memorial Hospitals. Krisch, a civic leader and volunteer, is chairman of the Roanoke Valley chapter of the American Red Cross. Vipperman is president and chief operating officer of Appalachian Power Co. Hale is president of the Southwest Virginia Development Fund.

\ PAGE WILSON has been named national sales manager for the Accentrics division of Pulaski Furniture Corp. She succeeds BILL BEELER, who has been appointed regional sales manager for the company.
