"If you do this again, you'll be doing your next broadcast from the county jail," Municipal Judge Charlotte Walter Woolard said after sentencing KSOL disc jockey M. Erich Muller on Friday.
Muller, known on the air as "Mancow," and his sidekick, Jesus "Chuy" Gomez, tied up morning traffic on May 26 by parking their van across several westbound lanes of the Bay Bridge while Gomez got a haircut. The cut took only a few minutes but the traffic jam lasted more than an hour.
The stunt was a take-off on President Clinton's expensive haircut aboard Air Force One that delayed travelers at Los Angeles International Airport for an hour last month. - Associated Press
