OBIT-LINEBARGER, PAULINE S.

LINEBARGER, Pauline S., 80, of Roanoke, formerly of Salem, died Friday, June 11, 1993, in Lewis-Gale Hospital. She was a retired Elementary School teacher and faithful member of the College Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Luke L. Linebarger. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, James L. Linebarger of Topeka, Kansas, John S. and Catherine E. Linebarger, Alexandria; two brothers, Keller Spraker, Salem, J. Walter Spraker, Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Elizabeth Spraker, Roanoke; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 14, noon, at the College Lutheran Church by the Reverends D. J. Westermann, and Robert R. Ward. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends tonight at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30. The family suggests contributions to the College Lutheran Church, 210 College Ave., Salem, Va. 24153, or a favorite charity. Arrangements by John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
