OBIT RONK, SARAH WRAY
RONK, Sarah Wray, 96, of 3627 Greenridge Rd., NW, Roanoke, passed away at
her home Sunday, June 13, 1993. She is survived by her husband, Charlie E.
Ronk; one son and daughter-in-law, Galen R. and Betty S. Ronk; one daughter,
Virginia May Ronk; two grandsons, Robert Gary Ronk and Alan E. and wife,
Deanie S. Ronk; two great-grandchildren, Chris and Sarah Ronk, all of Roanoke;
three sisters-in-law, Lucy Ronk, Annie M. Ronk and Maggie R. Beckner and
husband, Clyde Beckner; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will
be conducted from the Peters Creek Old German Baptist Church at 11 a.m.
Wednesday, June 16, with Elder Virgil Jamison and Elder Emory Jamison and the
Home Brethren officiating. Burial will be at Peters Creek Cemetery. Friends
may call Oakey's North Chapel after 2 p.m. Monday.
