TERRY'S GUN PROPOSAL IS `GARBAGE'

A GOODY-TWO-SHOES leader in Richmond (Democratic gubernatorial candidate, Mary Sue Terry) wants to do it to law-abiding citizens again. She wants a five-day waiting period on the purchase of handguns. Garbage!

When our judicial system starts hanging murderers and rapists and do away with all appeals of known murderers, taxes will be lower because we won't be keeping them alive on death row. If a person kills another, hang 'em.

A handgun has never killed anyone. The person who pulls the trigger is the killer. If a crook wants a gun, he will steal one. What naive politicians think is that the crook will wait five days and think it over. So, they put these laws on the honest man, and crooks still walk the streets because of their "rights" and plea-bargaining. BUCK SIMPSON MARION
