DON'T LET `THEM' HAVE THEIR WAY
ALL WHO have definite feelings about the ban on gays in the military should
not be complacent about taking a stand. Speak out! Many say, "I don't vote (or
speak out) because they are going to have their way anyway." Who are "they"?
If we have learned anything from history, it is that we do not learn from
history. Not one nation in the history of the world has condoned homosexuality
and remained a world power. Can we expect ours to be an exception?
How long will we last, if government leaders surrender every vestige of the
morality and decency that have been hallmarks of the United States of America?
