$1,453,800 REQUESTED FOR WASTE TRANSFER STATION

The Wythe County Board of Supervisors has applied for $1,453,800 from the Farmers Home Administration on behalf of the Wythe-Bland Public Service Authority to build a solid-waste transfer station.

It would be located east of Interstate 81 along Reedy Creek, next to the Norfolk Southern Railroad.
