OBIT BECKNER, DORIS COLLINS

BECKNER, Doris Collins (Mrs. Marvin Eugene), 60, of Copper Hill, died Sunday, June 13, 1993. Surviving are three sons, Kenneth Beckner and wife, Sylvia, Copper Hill, Larry A. Beckner and wife, Cheryl, Roanoke, Jeffrey L. Beckner, Dublin; her brothers, sisters and their spouses, Reba and Woodrow Conner, Copper Hill, Edna and Harold Mills, Copper Hill, Mary and Leo Fernkas, Perry Hall, Md., Millard and Mary Ann Collins, Portsmouth; also surviving are four grandchildren, Cindy Beckner, Jamie Beckner, Brian Beckner and Amy Beckner. Funeral services will be conducted at Copper Hill Church of the Brethren 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 1993, with Rev. Douglas Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
