TRANSVESTITE CLAIMS ATTACK WITH BB GUN

Paul M. Holt, a transvestite who defeated the city's solicitation ordinance, told police he was shot in the leg with a BB gun Monday night shortly after he discussed the price of sexual relations with three men.

According to police reports, Holt, 24, was standing along 7th Street Southwest about 10:30 p.m. when the three men pulled up in an automobile.

After a brief conversation, including a discussion of sexual prices, one of them pulled a BB gun and shot Holt in the right thigh, police said.

Police later stopped a car and found two air rifles. Holt identified a 17-year-old as the person who shot him.

No charges had been placed Tuesday afternoon.
