OBIT OLIVER, LORETTA LONG

OLIVER, Loretta Long, 58, of 604 Maple Street, Dublin, died Monday morning, June 14, 1993, at her home. She was born in Montgomery County on December 31, 1934, and she ws the daughter of the late William Hobert Long and Lena Albert Long. She was a member of the Dublin Christian Church; and was preceded in death by three brothers; Elmore Long, Orville Long and Quinton Long. Surviving are her husband, James Thomas Oliver Sr., Dublin; son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Charlene Oliver, Salem; sons, James Thomas Oliver Jr., and Aaron David Oliver, both of Dublin; three sisters, Josephine Tallent, Longshop, Nelda Saville, Pulaski, Greta Davidson, Dublin; three grandchildren, Beth Renee Oliver, Christiansburg, Stephanie Oliver, Salem, Rob Oliver, Salem. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Dublin Christian Church. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Wednesday evening at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Pulaski.
