OBIT BUCHANAN, ERNEST FAUNTEEN

BUCHANAN, Ernest Faunteen, 87, of Rockbridge Baths, died Tuesday, June 15, 1993, at the Waynesboro Community Hospital. Mr. Buchanan was born in Rockbridge Co., Va., on April 29, 1906, a son of the late Walter Cyrus Buchanan and Mary Francis Sensabaugh Buchanan. He was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Rockbridge Baths, and a member of the I.O.O.F. #58 of Lexington for 50 years. Surviving are his wife, Grace Buchanan, Rockbridge Baths; two daughters, Joann B. Sweet, Waynesboro, Lola B. Cox, Richmond; a son, Kenneth Buchanan, Buena Vista; two sisters, Hallie Ervin, Helen Entsminger, both of Covington; four grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 17, 1993, 11 a.m. at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Leon Ellis officiating. Burial to follow in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
