OBIT LARUE, RANDOLPH FRANKLIN JR.
LARUE, Randolph Franklin Jr., ("Sam"), 73, of Riverside, died Monday, June
14, 1993 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital. He was born in Rockbridge County on
September 9, 1919 the son of the late Randolph F. LaRue and Lelia Elizabeth
Camper LaRue. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy
and a retired Supervisor of Plumbing for Dickinson and Cole. He was preceded
in death by a brother, Leonard M. LaRue. He is survived by his wife, Mildred
Carr LaRue, Riverside; two daughters, Cynthia L. Arrington, Covington, Linda
L. Meyer, Buena Vista; one son, Randolph F. LaRue III, Riverside; four
sisters, Mildred L. Lewis and Ann L. DePrey, both of Silver Spring, Md.,
Josephine L. Hansford, Titusville, Fla., and Molly L. Wilmer, Riverside; nine
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at
2 p.m. Thursday at Lomax Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sallie Dover
officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family
will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lomax Funeral Home.
