OBIT SUMMER, STEPHEN WALTER

SUMMEY, Stephen Walter, 43, of Pfafftown, N.C., died Saturday, June 12, 1993, at his home. He was the son of Lillian Jewell Williams Summey, of the home, and the late Walter Luke Summey. Other survivors are brothers, Robert Summey, Wimberly, Texas, and Joseph Summey, Lambsburg, Va.; a sister, Linda Summey, Christiansburg, Va. He was the godfather of Scott Cooper, Stuttgart, Germany. Mr. Summey was a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in Civil Engineering and a masters degree in Construction Engineering, and belonged to the Tau Beta Pi Association. Graveside services were held at Monta Vista Memory Gardens in Galax, Va. on Tuesday, June 15. Arrangements by Vogler & Sons in Winston-Salem.
