FRIDAY IS DEADLINE FOR BOARD APPLICANTS

Friday is the deadline for applicants to alert the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors of their interest in serving on a variety of boards and commissions.

The supervisors are seeking people willing to serve on the New River Community College Board, New River Valley Community Services Board, the U.S. 460-Virginia 114 Corridor Planning Advisory Council, Human Services Commission, Library Board, Office on Youth, Social Services Board and Transportation Safety Commission.

Call County Administrator Betty Thomas at 382-6954 for more information, or submit a letter of intent to Thomas at P.O. Box 806, Christiansburg, by Friday. Applicants must be registered voters in the county and have no unpaid taxes.
