BLACKBSURG ARMED ROBBERY UNDER INVESTIGATION

Town police are investigating an armed robbery reported Tuesday night by a clerk at a North Main Street convenience store.

The clerk at A&J Quick Shop told police that a man wearing a ski mask man entered the store at about 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, pulled out a blued revolver and demanded money.

According to a news release, the robber fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. The clerk described the man as about 5-foot-8, in his early 20s, wearing blue jeans and a dark sweat shirt.
