2 GLADE SPRING BOYS FACE MURDER CHARGES

Two teen-age boys have been indicted on capital murder and other charges for the 1992 slaying of a Glade Spring woman.

A Washington County grand jury met for about 40 minutes Wednesday before indicting Jonathan D. Coleman, 16, and Jason E. Talbert, 17, both of Glade Spring. They are charged with capital murder, armed robbery and related firearms charges.

Commonwealth's Attorney Dennis Godfrey said he plans to try the teens as adults. They could face death in the electric chair if convicted of fatally shooting Gina J. Anderson, 33, at her home Nov. 11, 1992.

Authorities charge that the teens, who lived in the same neighborhood as Anderson, killed her when their plans to steal her car went awry.
