OBIT CHEATHAM, JAMES ARTHUR JR.
CHEATHAM, James Arthur Jr., 83, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, June 17,
1993. He was a member of Airlee Court Baptist Church, and a retired machinist
of Norfolk & Western Railway. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 58
years, Mrs. Lake M. Cheatham. He survived by one daughter and son-in-law,
Connie and Chuck Manetta; son and daughter-in-law, J. David and Sharon
Cheatham, all of Roanoke; three grandsons; one granddaughter; one
great-grandson. Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's North Chapel
11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 1993, with the Rev. Eugene Burris officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel
where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
