OBIT HALL, THOMAS EVERETT

HALL, Thomas Everett, 76, of Vinton, passed away Thursday, June 17, 1993, at a local hospital. He was retired from Exxon Company U.S.A., and was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy who saw service in the South Pacific as a deep sea diver. Mr. Hall was a member of Williamson Road Lodge #163 A.F.&A.M. and the Roanoke Scottish Rite Bodies. He had been a member of Lynn Haven Baptist Church, Vinton, since 1969, and served as a deacon for many years. He loved his Lord and his family. Surviving are his wife, Hattie Basham Hall; brother, W. Horace Hall, and sister, Eleanor Foster of New Castle Ontario, Canada; sisters, Gene Milam, Keeling, Va.; Nancy Hardy, Bedford; brother, Malcolm ("Pete") Hall, Yorktown, Va.; many dear nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Robert Hamner officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
