OBIT HALL, THOMAS EVERETT
HALL, Thomas Everett, 76, of Vinton, passed away Thursday, June 17, 1993,
at a local hospital. He was retired from Exxon Company U.S.A., and was a World
War II veteran of the U.S. Navy who saw service in the South Pacific as a deep
sea diver. Mr. Hall was a member of Williamson Road Lodge #163 A.F.&A.M. and
the Roanoke Scottish Rite Bodies. He had been a member of Lynn Haven Baptist
Church, Vinton, since 1969, and served as a deacon for many years. He loved
his Lord and his family. Surviving are his wife, Hattie Basham Hall; brother,
W. Horace Hall, and sister, Eleanor Foster of New Castle Ontario, Canada;
sisters, Gene Milam, Keeling, Va.; Nancy Hardy, Bedford; brother, Malcolm
("Pete") Hall, Yorktown, Va.; many dear nieces and nephews. Funeral services
will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev.
Robert Hamner officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
