OBIT FRAZER, RAYMOND PATTISON
FRAZER, Raymond Pattison, ("Fritz"), 73, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, June
16, 1993, in a local hospital. Born October 5, 1919 in Philadelphia, Pa., he
was a son of the late Raymond P. and Kathryn N. Frazer. Mr. Frazer attended
Washington & Jefferson College and was a graduate of Concord College. He
served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a
member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association.
Mr. Frazer was a retired employee of Allstate Insurance Company. Surviving are
his wife, Emma H. Frazer; son and daughter-in-law, Raymond P. and Barbara
Frazer; daughter and son-in-law, Charles and Sarah Lex, all of Roanoke;
granddaughter, Brooke E. Frazer; grandson, Therron D. Lex. In lieu of flowers,
the family request that memorials be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 2011
Brandon Ave., SW, Roanoke, VA 24015 or to Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 14205,
Roanoke, VA 24038-4205. A memorial service will be conducted 1:30 p.m.
Saturday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel by Pastor Linda S. Mitchell. The family
will receive friends following the memorial service at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
