OBIT WOHLFORD, WILLIAM S.
WOHLFORD, William S. ("Mike"), 73, of 955 Grayson Rd., Wytheville, died
Wednesday, June 16, 1993, in the Radford Community Hospital. He was a veteran
of World War II, having served with the 82nd Airborne Divison, and was a
recipient of the Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife, Nora Cynthia Cline
Wohlford, Wytheville; three daughters, Kay Parker, Mechanicsville, Patty
Midkiff, Wytheville; Martha Cheek, St. Mary's, Ga.; one brother, James H.
Wohlford, Wytheville; three grandchildren, Michael Cheek, Amy Parker, Lyndsay
Midkiff. Funeral services will be Friday, June 18, 1993, at 2 p.m. in the
Chapel of the Grubb Funeral Home conducted by Pator Roger Kluttz, with the
interment to follow in the West End Cemetery. The American Legion Post #9 will
conduct graveside Military rites. The Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the
arrangements.
