SHOWTIME FILMING MOVIE IN VIRGINIA

``Conduct Unbecoming,'' a Showtime television movie starring Samuel L. Jackson and Sam Waterston, is being filmed on location over three and a half weeks in Virginia, including the campus of the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington.

The movie is based on the court-martial of Johnson Whittaker, one of the first black cadets at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Washington & Lee University alumnus Harry Moses is the writer, producer and director. Moses' other credits include ``The Trial of Bernhard Goetz'' and the award-winning Children's Express News Magazine.

The Virginia Film Office worked with state officials to find locations to re-create 19th-century New York.
