OBIT CROMAR, ROBERT A.
CROMAR, Robert A., 70, of Roanoke, died Thursday, June 17, 1993, in a local
nursing home. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day
Saints. He attended the University of Utah and was a veteran of World War II,
serving as a pilot in the Army Air Corps. Mr. Cromar was preceded in death by
a daughter, Susan Jean Cromar, and a son, John Gregory Cromar. Surviving are
his wife, Mrs. Glory S. Cromar; sons, R. Jeffry Cromar, Dallas, Texas, Stephen
Cromar, Illinois, David Cromar, Redmond, Wash., Phillip Cromar, Illinois; 14
grandchildren, brother, Howard Cromar, Salt Lake City, Utah; two sisters,
Marian Condie, and Rosella Jordan, both of Salt Lake City. Funeral services
will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 1 p.m. Monday with Bishop Tim Layton
officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of
flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Disease
Association, P.O. Box 5014, Roanoke, VA 24012. Friends may call from 4 to 6
p.m. Sunday at Oakey's South Chapel.
